Catriona is a strategic communications and public affairs professional with experience navigating the intersection of politics, media, policy development and stakeholder engagement.

Before to joining SEC Newgate, Catriona worked as a Policy Advisor to a NSW Government Minister. During her time in Government, Catriona was actively involved in the key portfolio areas of Hospitality, Racing and Crown Lands and has a close understanding of how governments and the public service make decisions. Having worked closely with regional communities and a number of social enterprises, Catriona is experienced in managing stakeholder issues in regional areas and has a strong understanding of the importance of social license in project development.

Catriona holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Psychology and Marketing from the University of Sydney and is in the process of completing her post graduate degree in Advanced Psychology through Monash University.
