Alisha is a media, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications specialist with experience working across the media and government. Prior to joining SEC Newgate, Alisha worked at Sky News and in the communications and policy teams of Federal and State political leaders.

With an in-depth understanding of Australia’s political and media landscape, Alisha has successfully coordinated large scale media events for Australia’s most senior political leaders. Alisha has a practical experience in generating extensive local and national media coverage.

Alisha has significant expertise in social media, having established a substantial public following and profile through high rating media appearances. She is a regular contributor to Triple J’s current affairs program Hack and as panellist on SBS’s The Feed.

Alisha advocates for several not-for-profit organisations including Foodbank Australia and a disability services organisation, Gig Buddies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) from the University of Sydney.
