Matilda is a communications professional with experience in corporate and digital communications, stakeholder engagement and community consultation. Matilda has experience working with government and private sector clients across the energy, infrastructure, planning, agriculture and financial sectors.
Matilda has worked on controversial and high-profile projects, requiring sophisticated communications strategies and careful community and stakeholder consultation and risk management.
Matilda has a strong understanding of major infrastructure planning processes, working on large PPP tenders, such as the Sydney Football Stadium Redevelopment and Cross River Rail, and helping clients progress through state significant development application processes.
Matilda has worked on a number of media relations briefs, where she has developed targeted media strategies and briefing notes, liaised with journalists and provided on the ground support. Clients include Infrastructure Australia, Chief Executive Women and Australian marathon swimmer, Chloe McCardel.
Before SEC Newgate, Matilda interned at NSW Parliament and worked as a paralegal at a boutique construction and property law firm.
Matilda holds a double degree of law and communications from the University of Technology Sydney.
