Rachel is a communications practitioner providing corporate communications and government relations support to a range of clients across energy, technology, finance, government, philanthropy and tourism.
The focus of Rachel’s work has been on issues and media monitoring, policy positioning, stakeholder engagement and crisis communications. This has seen her work with clients including the National Skills Commission, Carnival Cruise Lines, Google, the Committee for Melbourne, Youi, QSuper and Endeavour Energy.
Rachel is outcomes-focused with a strong track record delivering on her client’s strategic communications objectives. She enjoys navigating complex issues and is skilled at helping clients build greater awareness of their external communications and policy environments to support decision making.
Rachel’s recent work has included developing a crisis communications strategy for a global food chain, implementing a rigorous stakeholder engagement and research program for a NSW energy network and producing collateral to support clients through parliamentary inquiries and pre-budget submissions.
Rachel holds degrees in Journalism and International Business, graduating as Valedictorian from the University of Queensland. She also studied Economics at Harvard Summer School.
