Alistair is a stakeholder-focused public affairs professional with experience working across corporate communications and government relations briefs.

Since joining SEC Newgate, Alistair has worked on a number of high-profile briefs, supporting both private and public sector clients to develop and implement targeted advocacy and communication strategies. Alistair’s work has included projects for multinational law firms, banks and insurers, global payments and pharmaceutical companies, universities, aboriginal lands councils and various government agencies. Alistair has also supported one of Australia’s leading energy infrastructure businesses to prepare collateral for and execute on their advocacy and engagement strategy across all levels of executive government.

Alistair has considerable experience supporting a number of ASX-listed organisations to prepare for and deliver updates to the market, as well as generate local and national media coverage on business activities.

Alistair has a particular interest in financial communications and has experience working in banking and financial services. Before consulting, Alistair worked for a leading regional bank where he supported organisational response and communications for several regulatory and legal matters, including criminal proceedings.

Alistair holds a dual degree in law and public relations and has also studied economics at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
