David is an experienced research consultant who has spent over 15 years advising commercial, government and NGO clients.
He works across a broad range of issues and industry sectors with a particular interest in communications and brand research, evidence-based issues management, stakeholder engagement and corporate social responsibility. He has significant experience managing complex and high-stakes qualitative and quantitative projects and is an adept presenter and facilitator.
Recent highlights include leading SEC Newgate’s weekly coronavirus tracker, developing a research-based communications strategy for SA Power Networks, understanding school choice drivers for the NSW Department of Education and leading over 20 community and stakeholder research projects for Transport for NSW.
Before joining SEC Newgate, David was a Senior Research Partner at Auspoll and he has also worked for international consulting firm Frost & Sullivan as industry manager for their pharmaceutical and medical devices research teams.
David has a PhD and Bachelor of Science (Hons.1) from Sydney University.
